Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Harrogate & Ripon Community Treatment Team as a Nursing Associate.
Applicants must have already completed the Nursing Associate foundation degree and be a Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register. This post is not offering the training to gain this qualification.

The successful candidate will work with multi-professional practitioners to ensure collaborative working with service users, their families, carers and partner agencies providing a person-centred approach and strive to promote recovery within adult mental health.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be calm, confident and resilient in their approach, and will need to be able to form therapeutic relationships.

ExperienceEssential- Up to date understanding of the scope of and role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and multidisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
- Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
- Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice
- Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation
- Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans
