LOCUM GP OPPORTUNITY*
GROBY SURGERY, LEICESTER LE6 0GLGroby Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic Locum GP to join our friendly and supportive practice, ideally for
two days per week, a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
There is also an opportunity for the role to develop into a substantive position for the right candidate.
Main duties of the jobTo provide general medical services to patients, including conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations; diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions; prescribing medications; reviewing test results; maintaining accurate clinical records; making referrals to secondary care and community services; undertaking home visits where required; ensuring safe, effective patient care.
About usWe are a small practice in a semi-rural setting and pride ourselves on providing a friendly, efficient, and patient-centred service. Our excellent multidisciplinary team includes a Pharmacy team, Associate Physician, Social Prescriber and dedicated administrative staff.
Job responsibilitiesProvides general medical services to patients, including conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations; diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions; prescribing medications; reviewing test results; maintaining accurate clinical records; making referrals to secondary care and community services; undertaking home visits where required; and working in accordance with NHS, GMC, practice policies, and clinical governance requirements to ensure safe, effective patient care.
