Job SummaryParticipate in all ward activities as an effective team member, supporting the WardManager taking the responsibility for the leadership of a team of staff. To assess care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation ofprogrammes of care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and to act as a role model to juniorstaff, undertaking performance management as required. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients and the wholedepartment/unit/ ward for the duration of shift.
