Build your specialist nursing career in stem cell transplantation

Are you an experienced acute care nurse with oncology or haematology experience who is ready to develop within a highly specialist service? Join our Stem Cell Transplant Unit and support patients through some of the most complex and important stages of their treatment. You will combine advanced clinical care with the personal relationships that make nursing so rewarding, providing reassurance, dignity and continuity to patients and their families throughout their care.

What we're looking for
  • A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • At least one year of post registration experience in an acute setting.
  • Oncology or haematology nursing experience and a sound understanding of acute nursing care.
  • A cancer foundation course and haematology course, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • A recognised chemotherapy administration qualification, such as ENB 237/998, UKONS SACT or equivalent.
  • Experience with central venous access devices and phlebotomy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively.
  • Experience in malignant haematology or stem cell transplantation would be an advantage, along with knowledge of stem cell transplant pathways, JACIE FACT standards, CAR T cell therapy and chemotherapy protocols for haematological malignancies.
