Job summaryAdvanced Clinical Practitioner VacancyThe Wooda SurgeryWe are looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our busy clinical team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants!
We are also a training practice for medical students.
Along with five other practices, we are part of the Torridge Primary Care Network. Being part of the Primary Care Network enables us to share experience, skills and access additional roles within the Network.
Experience as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner is preferable, but we would be willing to invest in developing the right candidate.
Hours: 30+ per week
Salary range: £50,000 to £56,700 FTE dependant on experience and qualifications

The Wooda Surgery, Clarence Wharf,Barnstaple Street, Bideford, EX39 4AUMain duties of the jobTo provide safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care within a Primary Care setting. The post holder will assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and appropriately refer patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
The role includes wound care management, diagnostic assessment and interpretation, infection prevention and control adherence, and independent clinical practice working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcome
Diabetes and Respiratory disease management with opportunities for further development in these areas supported by the practice.

Our practice is led by a team of
eight GP partners and an
Executive Partner, supported by a dedicated team. This includes
five practice nurses, four Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), a clinical administration team, medical students and GPs undertaking their training with us. We also work closely with district nurses, midwives and health visitors who are attached to the practice through the local NHS trusts.
Our purpose-built surgery has been designed with patient comfort and accessibility in mind. A pharmacy, operated by Allied Pharmacy, is conveniently located on site.
Staff parking is available on site.
