Job summaryTo provide safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care within a Primary Care setting. The post holder will assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and appropriately refer patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
The role includes wound care management, diagnostic assessment and interpretation, infection prevention and control adherence, and independent clinical practice working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcome
Diabetes and Respiratory disease management with opportunities for further development in these areas supported by the practice.

About usThe Wooda SurgeryThe Wooda Surgery is a friendly, well-established group practice providing a comprehensive range of medical and nursing services to our patients. We are situated in a beautiful location overlooking the River Torridge.
Our practice is led by a team of
eight GP partners and an Executive Partner, supported by a dedicated team. This includes
five practice nurses, four Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), a clinical administration team, medical students and GPs undertaking their training with us. We also work closely with district nurses, midwives and health visitors who are attached to the practice through the local NHS trusts.
Our purpose-built surgery has been designed with patient comfort and accessibility in mind. A pharmacy, operated by Allied Pharmacy, is conveniently located on site.
