Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Macmillan Review Radiographer (Therapeutic) to join our radiotherapy team. You will play a key role in delivering specialist, radiographer-led support for patients receiving radiotherapy across a range of tumour sites. Working within agreed governance frameworks and scope of practice, you will assess and manage treatment-related side effects, escalate concerns appropriately, and provide holistic information and support to patients and carers throughout the pathway.

We are also pleased to consider applicants who are not yet able to fully evidence the essential Band 7 criteria, through a supported Band 6 to Band 7 development pathway. Progression to Band 7 will be subject to successful completion of the agreed competencies, training and education requirements, and demonstration of the knowledge, skills and experience needed for the substantive Band 7 role.

If you are passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred radiotherapy care and are ready to develop your specialist practice, we would love to hear from you.
