Job summary
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) are searching for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Pharmacist to join their highly skilled integrated medicine team at the Royal London Hospital, which is located on great ormond street.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking someone who is willing to learn, reliable, organised, adaptable, and has good attention to detail. Effective communication and customer service skills are important, as is the ability to work well in a team.

About us
The Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM) is the largest public-sector provider of integrated medicine in Europe and offers patient-centered service integrating both conventional and complementary treatments for a wide range of conditions.

The RLHIM Pharmacy provides medicines and advice for patients attending RLHIM outpatient clinics and also serves the public as a retail pharmacy registered with the GPhC.

  • Act with professionalism and ensure your ongoing competence through the principles of continuing professional development and lifelong learning
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of pharmacy practice

Please note that this role needs to cover 37.5 hours per week and is intended to start as soon as possible for a minimum 3 months, with possible extensions.

Qualifications
Essential
  • GPhC qualification.
  • Previous experience within a hospital/secondary care pharmacy.

Experience
Essential
  • Masters degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy
