Job summary
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to develop expertise within a highly specialised neurology and neurosurgery service? Are you ready to build your autonomous practice while working within a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Private Healthcare Team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to support the delivery of outstanding specialist nursing care to our neurology and neurosurgical patients across both outpatient and inpatient settings.

We are a small, well-established team with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient-centred care. We are looking for a proactive and inquisitive nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will act as a consistent point of contact for patients, their families and consultants throughout their private healthcare journey. You will coordinate investigations, treatments and care pathways, ensuring patients receive safe, seamless and personalised care from initial enquiry through to discharge and follow-up.

Working closely with consultants, nursing colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in facilitating efficient and responsive care, supporting both clinical and operational priorities within a fast-paced and high-profile service.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in neurology and neurosurgery, strengthen your leadership and care coordination skills, and contribute to the continued development of a growing private healthcare service.

If you are a compassionate, organised and patient-focused nurse who enjoys working independently while remaining part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
