The role is therefore, to support Digital Services in undertaking a wide range of informatics/digital related projects which require implementation across all Community Clinical Services at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW).

Job responsibilitiesThe job holder will plan, implement, and manage a portfolio of projects under the supervision of the Community Digital Matron and Community Operational Systems and Digital Lead. The job holder is expected to provide strong leadership for delivering and supporting the implementation of project outcomes across all UHCW Community areas to support the strategic aims of the Trust. The job holder will be responsible for communication and engagement, training and go-live support determined which will include undertaking clinical audits, stakeholder consultation and engagement, assessments, and evaluation of care. The Digital Specialist Nurse/AHP/Midwife role collaborates with clinical teams in providing clinical leadership. They play an essential leadership role in the implementation of Digital development to support the safe and efficient design, implementation, and use of digital solutions to deliver improvements in the quality and outcomes of care. They additionally work closely with clinical safety teams and project teams to ensure hazard logs, workshops and safety are in place. The post holder will be required to oversee and manage Band 6 team members.

- Previous experience working in digital technologies
- In-depth professional knowledge gained through degree or equivalent
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Current Professional Qualification, Registered Professional with the HCPC or other clinical registration
Desirable- Project Management Qualification or willingness to attain
- Accredited Clinical Safety Officer or actively working towards attaining this
