We have a new and exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to join our Cancer Business Unit within our Oncology department as a Clinical Nurse Specialist supporting the patient pathways for metastatic and non metastatic cancers for Lung cancer patients.

You will be joining an established team of dynamic Lung cancer CNS's . You will be part of a team that deliver specialist nursing whilst maintaining and developing a quality service. You will act as the patient's advocate maintaining privacy and dignity, and provide advice and support to junior staff and learners in all aspects of the delivery of highquality care.

This role will also provide support, advice and education to patients/ significant others in the management of their care.

Main duties of the job
Substantial nursing experience in oncology nursing at band 6/7 is preferable. You will need to be flexible, reliable and patient focused. You will work closely with the consultant team in delivering patient centred care.

There is a requirement to work between both Derby and Burton sites, however theses posts are predominately RDH (Royal Derby Hospital) based.
