  • Check finished quantities against expected batch yields and investigate or escalate discrepancies.
  • Ensure required in-process controls are completed and results are within defined acceptance criteria.

What we need from you
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, compounding, pharmacy or another regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence checking another person’s work.
  • Good numeracy skills and ability to check weights, quantities and calculations.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, batch records and written instructions accurately.
  • Good documentation and organisational skills.
  • Confidence identifying and escalating errors or discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A quality-focused mindset with patient safety at the centre of your work.

Desirable
  • Pharmacy, science or manufacturing background
  • Experience completing GMP documentation and batch records
  • Experience operating pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment

What we offer
  • Private medical insurance
  • Gym & wellness benefit with Wellhub
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Electric car scheme
  • 25 days holidays and generous parental leave & flexible working policies
  • Annual company retreat
  • Join in the early stages of one of the most promising scale-ups in the healthcare space

Our interview process
  • Initial screening call
  • On-site or virtual interview with Operations / Compounding Lead

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out independent in-process checks during compounding and packaging.
  • Check materials, quantities, weights and calculations against batch documentation.
  • Verify batch numbers, expiry dates and material traceability.
  • Review batch records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Check room, equipment and line clearance before processing.
  • Verify equipment setup and relevant processing parameters.
  • Complete in-process yield and reconciliation checks.
  • Check packaging, labels, pack sizes and finished quantities.
  • Identify and escalate errors, discrepancies or deviations.
  • Ensure all checks are clearly and accurately documented.
  • Work closely with Compounding Operatives, Pharmacists and the Quality team.
  • Support right-first-time and continuous improvement within the Compounding team.
