Description

Job summary
We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly, well-established and high-performing Partnership for between 4 and 6 sessions per week.

You will have considerable clinical autonomy while being supported by an experienced and approachable multidisciplinary team, enabling you to concentrate on providing excellent care for your patients.

We are committed to continually improving our services and developing our team. For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to progress towards Partnership in the future.

We offer a competitive salary from approximately £11,000 per session per annum, depending on experience.

If you would like an informal conversation about the role or the Partnership before applying, we would be very happy to hear from you.

Main duties of the job
As part of our GP team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our registered patients.

Working with a high degree of clinical autonomy, you will assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer patients, making appropriate clinical decisions and ensuring that care is safe, effective and responsive to individual needs.

You will work collaboratively with our GPs, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and wider multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support positive outcomes for patients.

You will also contribute to clinical meetings, shared learning, quality improvement and the continued development of our services.

About us
Weeping Cross Health Partnership is a stable and forward-thinking Partnership with a well-established place in the local community.

Our team includes eight Partners, seven Associate GPs and highly experienced Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and wider multidisciplinary teams. Together, we provide a broad range of services across three practices in Stafford and play an active role within a successful Primary Care Network.

We are proud to have been rated Good by the CQC, with examples of excellent practice highlighted. We also achieve strong QOF results and consistently high levels of patient satisfaction.

We have ambitious plans for the future and offer excellent opportunities for professional development, service improvement and career progression.

Our three practices are located in the suburbs of Stafford, a well-connected county town offering excellent schools, amenities and transport links. Cannock Chase National Landscape is also close by, providing easy access to outstanding countryside and outdoor activities.

Job responsibilities
The post-holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care to registered patients, managing a varied clinical caseload across the full range of health needs encountered in general practice.

Working both autonomously and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team, the post-holder will assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer patients as appropriate, ensuring that care is safe, effective and well coordinated.
