About the role

Join our Bank team as an Instrument Coordinator & CSSD Technician and play a vital role in keeping our theatres running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for decontaminating, sterilising, tracking, and preparing surgical instruments, helping to ensure exceptional patient care and a seamless surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilise surgical instruments
• Operate CSSD equipment and complete quality assurance checks
• Maintain instrument tracking, inventory, and documentation
• Manage stock levels and support instrument loan processes
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilisation standards
• Work closely with theatre teams to ensure instruments are available and procedure-ready
• Identify and escalate equipment or instrument issues promptly

About you

You are a proactive, detail-focused CSSD professional who thrives in a busy clinical environment. You understand that precision, organisation, and teamwork are essential to delivering safe surgical care.

You'll bring

• At least 1 year's CSSD or theatre experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation and infection control practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to patient safety and high standards
