Leedale Pharmacy is a busy and friendly distance selling pharmacy (not open to the public) committed to delivering excellent patient care and customer service. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised Dispensary Operative to support our pharmacy team in providing a safe, efficient and professional dispensing services for our patients and customers.

This is a Fixed Term Contract 12:15 - 18:15 Monday to Friday

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and wants to make a positive difference to our home delivery patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the dispensary team with the preparation and assembly of prescriptions.
• Accurately picking and labelling medications under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff.
• Managing prescription workflow and ensuring prescriptions are ready in a timely manner.
• Receiving, unpacking and storing pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with stock control activities.
• Ensuring the dispensary is clean, organised and compliant with pharmacy procedures.
• Answering telephone enquiries and directing patients to the appropriate member of the team.
• Supporting the delivery of outstanding customer care.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Is organised and able to prioritise workload effectively.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Has strong communication and customer service skills.
• Is reliable, professional and trustworthy.
• Is confident using computer systems.
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
