You will influence how hearing care is delivered across our hospitals, support teams to develop, and help patients stay connected to the people and activities that matter to them.
We are seeking an experienced Audiology professional to take forward an established service with a strong clinical foundation. In this role, you will bring together operational oversight, professional leadership and a clear focus on high-quality adult and paediatric Audiology care.
We support flexible working and will work with the successful candidate to explore arrangements that support service needs and work-life balance. Main duties of the jobAt Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, hearing care is more than a clinical service; it helps people communicate, stay independent and remain connected with everyday life. You will join an established and supportive team serving communities across Worcestershire, with the opportunity to build on strong foundations and shape a service that makes a tangible difference for patients and families.
Working across hospital and community settings, you will lead a highly skilled multidisciplinary team and be supported by experienced clinical and operational leaders. You will contribute to senior decision-making, strengthen service planning and work with colleagues across the directorate to develop Audiology services for the future.
You will maintain high standards of quality, safety and governance while supporting workforce development, financial planning and service improvement. The role also includes senior clinical oversight across adult and paediatric Audiology, ENT support, vestibular assessment, electrophysiology and Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT).
We are looking for a qualified Audiologist, Hearing Therapist or Clinical Scientist (Audiology) with senior leadership experience, strong communication skills and a proven track record in service development, clinical governance and quality improvement. You will be a collaborative, visible and forward-thinking leader who can support people, manage complexity and help shape the future of Audiology across Worcestershire.
