Working as part of the diabetes in pregnancy multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist midwifery care, advice and support for birthing people with pre-existing and gestational diabetes. You will help coordinate personalised, evidence-based care across the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal pathway, supporting birthing people and families to understand their care, build confidence and make informed choices.
This is an exciting time to join our maternity teams across York and Scarborough. Following our recent CQC inspection, maternity services at both York and Scarborough were rated Good across all five domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. This achievement reflects the dedication, compassion and professionalism of our workforce, and our commitment to listening to women, families and colleagues to continually improve the care we provide. You will be joining a service that has made significant progress and is proud of what has been achieved, while recognising there is still more to do. We are committed to continuous learning, innovation and improvement, building on strong foundations to shape the future of maternity care across our Trust.
