Dougie Mac provides specialist hospice care to adults, young adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. The hospice delivers inpatient care, community services, wellbeing support, dementia services and children's care from sites in Blurton and Trentham, plus home visits. Over 3,500 local people receive care each year, supported by clinical specialists, nurses, therapists and volunteers.
The hospice addresses physical, emotional and practical needs of people facing serious illness, ensuring coordinated care when families need it most. Founded in 1973, Dougie Mac relies on community fundraising to provide all services free of charge, making expert palliative care accessible to all ages.
