Linthorpe Surgery provides NHS general practice to approximately 20,000 patients across two Middlesbrough locations. The practice delivers primary care including consultations, chronic disease management, mental health support, immunisations and minor procedures. A multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and social prescribers ensures timely care from the appropriate clinician. The practice serves a diverse community in an area with high deprivation, offering support for patients whose first language is not English. Extended hours through the Holgate Primary Care Network provide evening and weekend access. As a training practice, it develops future GPs whilst reducing health inequalities.
