Ward Healthcare Assistants Needed!

18 Week Support is seeking HCA's to join their friendly and supportive team in the West Midlands area. You will be required to be currently working in an NHS Setting as an HCA within the UK.

You will be supporting the following specialities, you may have experience in any one of these to be considered:

• Urology
• Gynaecology
• General Surgery

Please note that all applicants must reside within the West Midlands area in order to be considered for the role.

Main duties of the job
Weekday and Weekend shifts available (8am-6pm)

Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

• Support patients throughout their inpatient surgical journey within a Urology/ General Surgery ward setting.
• Assist nursing staff in delivering high standards of patient-centred care.
• Take and record patient observations accurately, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Provide compassionate, professional, and dignified care to all patients.

Qualifications
Essential

• Requirements
• Currently practising, or has practised, as a Ward HCA within a surgical or inpatient setting for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.
• Proven experience working in the NHS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.

• Must reside within the West Midlands area.
