We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate clinician to join our well-established multidisciplinary team. You will be part of a supportive, forward-thinking environment that values innovation, reflection, and person-centred care.

If you’re committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic input and want to be part of a service that prioritises holistic, relationship-focused support, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:
  • Undertake specific therapeutic work with patients and their families in response to the clinical need, in a way which coheres with the overall treatment philosophy of the Unit
  • Maintain effective clinical records and casework notes in accordance with developing policy
  • Provide evidence-based mental health and systemic psychotherapy services across the hospital
  • Conduct systemic assessments, treatment and consultation to client systems including children, young people, their families, carers and professional networks
  • Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) participating in clinical team meetings and other departmental meetings as necessary
  • Attend team meetings aimed at facilitating and enhancing team cooperation and performance
  • Provide coaching, training, mentoring and management of junior staff and student placements
  • Ensure that that all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
  • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights

What you'll have:
  • UKCP registration
  • A recognised qualification in Systemic Family Therapy
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of adolescent development
  • Person centred ethos, showing empathy and a desire to make a difference
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity
  • Flexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively in line with the needs of the service
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS

We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions. To support this, we are a Disability Confident employer.

  • 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Join the Active Learning Hub and benefit from a wide range of e learning and face to face training and development opportunities
  • Benefits Hub giving discounts and savings on your weekly shop
  • Free 24 hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme Helpline & App to support with legal, health, wellbeing, relationship and consumer advice
