Main duties of the job
The position of Bank Support Worker at Agincare Children's Services involves supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural, and learning needs in their residential home in Salisbury. You will help shape an expanding not-for-profit service dedicated to making a real difference in childrens lives. The job requires you to build positive relationships with children and young people, support them daily, and help them learn life skills to become independent. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure children feel safe, secure, and cared for, providing them with compassionate and therapeutic support. Handling challenging behaviour calmly and with empathy is an important aspect of the job. Applicants need not have experience as full training and ongoing support are provided. However, a genuine interest in supporting children with complex needs, patience, resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to completing NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare is required. A driving licence is needed, as travel to dual registered homes across two sites may be necessary.
