Job summaryAlbany House is a friendly, supportive, and high performing Practice set in a beautiful grade II listed building in the heart of Worcester. We serve a mixed patient population of just over 7000.
We are looking for a conscientious, open and approachable GP to work up to 4 sessions per week alongside our enthusiastic and dynamic team whilst one of our Salaried GPs is on maternity leave. We want you to be as passionate about good patient care as we are.
The friendly and open environment in which we work allows us all to develop as clinicians. We hold regular clinical meetings for all clinical members of staff to share ideas, best practice and support each other. A sense of humor is considered essential!

Our team consists of 3 partners, 3 salaried doctors with a great nursing team (made up of 1 nurses, 1 training ANP and 2 HCAs) as well as an excellent managerial team and support staff.
Training practice

Job responsibilities- A successful applicant's working day will include variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssentialDesirable- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Familiarity with primary care clinical systems (the practice uses EMIS, Docman 10, Accurx).
- Excellent time keeping
- Exceptional team player
- Good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and QoF
