Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12mth secondment as a band 7 Haematology Nurse Manager. This is a very unique service and rare opportunity. This post covers the Day units at RGH and NHH and the 8 bedded Haematology ward on B4 at The Grange Hospital.
There are x4 band 6 deputy managers - x2 on B4 and x1 at each Day unit. This post is to oversee and support the management and leadership over the three areas. The post holder would be required to work across the three sites, x3 days at GUH on B4 and x1 day at each day unit. The hours are Monday - Friday 8-4.
Main duties of the jobTo lead, support and manage both Haematology day units and the 8 bedded ward on B4 at RGH with the support of the x4 Deputy managers. To act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of contact. To be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, deliver and evaluation of patient care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
