The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Stroke and Neurology team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the multidisciplinary team, working with patients who have suffered strokes and neurological conditions. Your expertise will contribute to their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Main duties of the job- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, neurological conditions, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance patients' mobility, coordination, strength, and overall function.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Nurses, to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies, protocols, and research initiatives.

Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- Extensive post graduate experience on stroke, neurology and respiratory rotations
