Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our team. We are a forward-thinking practice with just over 7000 patients across our 2 sites in the Totley (S17) and Woodseats (S8) areas.
Main Duties of the JobYou will be required to work autonomously in delivering independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making and planning of care & prescribing within your scope.
About UsWe pride ourselves on delivering high quality clinical care with a varied clinical team which consists of 4 GPs, 1 Physician Associate, 1 ANP, 1 Nurse practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants plus a pharmacy team that includes 2 pharmacists and a Pharmacy Technician all supported by our Administration team.
Job Responsibilities- Be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using their clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, prescribe and refer.
- Maintain a high standard of patient focused care in accordance with practices guidelines and policies.
- Enable the clinical team to work effectively and provide a high quality service to patients.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Hold current registration with a statutory regulator of health and care professions, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice
Desirable- Prescribing qualification
