We are a Surgery dedicated to patient-centred care and making a positive difference in our community. We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who is friendly and enthusiastic to provide a high quality of care to our patients. The scope of the role will include Long Term Condition management, childhood immunisations, cytology, smears, vaccinations etc. A successful candidate will also be confident, have excellent organisational skills, be able to self-manage and be IT proficient.

- Swabs, specimens, bloods, blood pressures
- Keeping accurate and detailed health records on the Emis system
- A key role in QOF/QIF achievement
About usWe are a large practice with approx 16,000 patients. The team consists of: 6 partners, 7 salaried GP, 4 trainees, 4 Advanced nurse practitioner, 3 practice nurses, 4 HCA's, admin team & reception team. We are a training practice and encourage staff to strive towards continued professional development.

This role may support the wider team with:
- Clinical audits
- Safeguarding concerns
- Support and participate in shared learning over the Practice
- Support for GPs in patient care
- Ability to review clinical practices and respond to national policies and initiatives where necessary
- Participate in local initiatives in order to enhance local patient care where necessary
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Experience of working within a nursing team in General Practice
- Experience working with EMIS
