We are a well-established training practice and further training is available to the right candidate.
Main Duties of the JobDuties- Dressings and wound care to include suture removal.
- Administer IM injection and vaccinations under PGDs.
- Cervical smear tests (training available).
- Monitor and manage long term conditions, providing education and support to patients.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Provide health education to patients and their families regarding disease prevention and health promotion.
- Monitor stock levels and support with ordering.
- Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and well-organised.

- Keeping patient records up to date;
- Checking a patients temperature, pulse and blood pressure correctly;
- Working alongside and communicating regularly with practice GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Nurse with the NMC
- BSc in Nursing
Desirable- Practice nurse training
- Independent prescriber
ExperienceEssential- Experience of working within a nursing team
- Experience of administering IM injections
- Experience of dressings and wound care
- Experience of working in an NHS healthcare setting - community services, acute hospital or general practice
Desirable- Experience of working in a GP practice
- Experience of working with long term conditions
