Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will deliver safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care to our registered patients through both telephone and face-to-face consultations.
- Sessions run from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Telephone consultations are scheduled for 10 minutes each.
- Face-to-face consultations are 15 minutes each.
- Appointments are fully managed by the partners, ensuring appropriate scheduling and clinical control.
- The role follows a same-day appointment model, improving access and continuity for patients.
- Opportunities exist to develop additional clinical interests such as minor surgery, joint injections, and women's health clinics.
- The post-holder will be supported by a multidisciplinary team including Physician Associates, ACPs, Pharmacists, a Pharmacy Technician, and Paramedics, reducing administrative and clinical workload pressures.

We have achieved consistently high patient satisfaction, with around 95% positive feedback in the Friends and Family Test. We are also one of the highest-rated surgeries in Crawley on both Google and NHS reviews.
We are currently planning an expansion of our premises to add five new consulting rooms, supporting continued service growth and improved access.
Our practice is paper-free and digitally innovative, using SystmOne, Airmid, and Surgery Connect to streamline workflow and enhance patient communication. We pride ourselves on providing modern, efficient healthcare while maintaining the human touch that patients value most.

Contract and Remuneration- Competitive salary based on experience

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration
- Inclusion on the National Medical Performers List
- MRCGP or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Eligibility to practise independently in the United Kingdom
Desirable- Postgraduate qualification or additional certification in a clinical specialty (e.g. women's health, minor surgery, dermatology)
- Recognised GP Trainer or Supervisor accreditation, or interest in working towards this
ExperienceEssential- Experience of working in a UK primary care or equivalent clinical environment
- Experience of managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Experience of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Experience of managing patient care in accordance with NHS primary care frameworks and clinical governance principles
- Experience of using electronic clinical systems-SystmOne.
- Experience of delivering patient-centred care in a busy and diverse practice environment
- Experience of maintaining accurate and timely medical records in line with professional standards
Desirable- Experience of participating in clinical audit, quality improvement projects, or service development initiatives
- Experience of teaching, mentoring, or supervising trainees or other healthcare professionals
- Experience or interest in minor surgery, women's health, or joint injections
