Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team at
Pembridge Palliative Care Centre on a bank basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering and developing high-quality rehabilitation services for adults with complex palliative care needs, helping patients achieve the best possible quality of life and independence.
Main duties of the job- As a senior clinician, provide operational management and clinical leadership including time keeping, work allocation and rest breaks, respond to immediate sickness absence (requesting agency, as per protocol as required) and ensure efficient and effective use of resources
- As senior clinician you will act as role model supporting the team to achieve and maintain high standards of clinical care, based on evidence based practice.
- As senior clinician you will respond to clinical incidents, accidents and complaints in accordance with CLCH policy.
- Undertake assessment and appraisal of designated members of the team.
- To initiate and participate in change management processes as needed.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- BSc in Physiotherapy
- Health Professions Council registered
- Evidence of post registration study
- Continuing Professional Development portfolio
- Desire to attain advanced skills
Desirable- Additional training in palliative care or oncology
- Training in communication skills
- Registered with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
ExperienceEssential- At least 5 years post qualifying physiotherapist experience in a multi-disciplinary health setting including working with palliative and end of life patients
- Evidence of post graduate study/relevant CPD activities
- Supervision and training of junior staff, assistants and students
- Complex caseload management
- Participated in audit/research project
- Experience of working within ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
Desirable- Experience of lone working
- Experience of teaching.
- Experience of supervising staff.
