Deputy Clinical Services Manager - Outpatients
Location: Ross Hall Hospital and Ross Hall Clinic Braehead, Glasgow
Salary: Up to £48,950 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Assist with daily staff allocation, rotas, and managing safe staffing levels and skill mix across the unit.
- Work clinically as part of the rota, providing expert oversight and supporting the nursing team during shifts.
- Ensure the unit operates safely, efficiently, and effectively, upholding high standards of patient care at all times.
- Contribute to audits, incident reporting, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and appraisal support to nursing staff and junior leaders.
- Support the implementation of service improvements, innovation, and operational changes.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Significant experience in a ward, inpatient, or critical care nursing environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Good understanding of governance, patient safety, and ward/critical care protocols.
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
