Salary: Up to £48,950.00 per year

Ross Hall Hospital and Ross Hall Clinic Braehead in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
  • Assist with daily staff allocation, rotas, and managing safe staffing levels and skill mix across the unit.
  • Work clinically as part of the rota, providing expert oversight and supporting the nursing team during shifts.
  • Ensure the unit operates safely, efficiently, and effectively, upholding high standards of patient care at all times.
  • Contribute to audits, incident reporting, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and appraisal support to nursing staff and junior leaders.
  • Support the implementation of service improvements, innovation, and operational changes.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
  • Significant experience in a ward, inpatient, or critical care nursing environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Good understanding of governance, patient safety, and ward/critical care protocols.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
