We have an opportunity for a Quality and Risk Coordinator to join their team of staff in the department.
This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:- Support the local management and coordination of incident reporting, ensuring timely documentation, review, and closure of incidents in line with policy.
- Assist in the investigation of adverse events, near misses, and complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and action planning.
- Maintain accurate risk registers and escalate significant risks to relevant governance forums.
- Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and quality monitoring activities across departments, ensuring action plans are implemented and reviewed.
- Assist with compliance tracking against CQC, HIS, HIW, or equivalent standards, including preparation for inspections and reviews.
- Collate, review, and present data related to quality metrics, KPIs, and governance performance.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:- Experience working in a quality, risk, governance, or clinical support role in a healthcare or regulatory environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including minute-taking and report coordination.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and governance systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
