Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Clementine Churchill Hospital - Harrow
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £39,250.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Oncology department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
  • Deliver safe, effective, and individualised nursing care to Oncology and Haematology patients across inpatient, day-case and outpatient settings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with agreed treatment pathways and care plans.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications in line with local policies, national guidance, and competency frameworks.
  • Support the safe delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) where trained and authorised, or work towards SACT competency as required.
  • Work in accordance with NMC Code, Circle Health Group policies, and national Oncology/Haematology standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development activities.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience working in an Oncology and/or Haematology setting, or strong demonstrable interest with relevant transferable skills.
  • Sound understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients in emotionally challenging situations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
