Staff Nurse – Oncology & Haematology
Location: The Harley Street Clinic, London
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Building a career in cancer nursing is about more than developing specialist clinical skills. It's about supporting patients and their families through some of the most important moments of their lives, while working alongside expert colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

At The Harley Street Clinic, you'll join one of the UK's leading private cancer centres, located in the heart of London's internationally recognised medical district. Rated Outstanding by the CQC, the hospital has built a reputation for delivering complex cancer care through multidisciplinary collaboration, advanced treatments and a commitment to continuously improving patient outcomes. Nurses joining our teams have the opportunity to work alongside some of the country's leading oncology and haematology specialists while caring for patients receiving innovative cancer treatments.

Whether you're already working within oncology or haematology, or you're an experienced acute medical nurse looking to develop a long-term career in cancer services, we'll support you to build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to thrive within this rewarding specialty.

Our cancer services care for patients with both solid tumour and haematological diagnoses, delivering a wide range of treatments including systemic anti-cancer therapies, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, radiotherapy, acute oncology care, supportive cancer services and palliative care. No two days are the same, and you'll gain exposure to complex patient pathways while working within a collaborative and highly supportive multidisciplinary team. The hospital delivers specialist cancer services through dedicated oncology units and multidisciplinary teams caring for patients with complex cancer diagnoses.

What makes this opportunity particularly exciting is our commitment to developing future cancer nurses. We recognise that some of the best oncology and haematology nurses begin their careers in acute medical settings. If you're an experienced Staff Nurse with a minimum of two years' recent acute medical inpatient experience and a genuine passion for cancer care, we'll provide the support and development needed to help you transition into this specialist field.

You'll benefit from structured learning, dedicated clinical support, access to specialist education programmes, mentorship from experienced oncology and haematology nurses, and ongoing development opportunities designed to help you grow your expertise and progress your career. The organisation offers a wide range of development pathways, specialist education opportunities and career progression routes for nurses seeking to advance within cancer services

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
