Main duties of the job

• Provide high-quality same-day and acute patient assessments
• Diagnose and manage a range of acute presentations
• Prescribe independently
• Work closely with GP and nurses
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Contribute to smooth daily flow within acute clinics

Job responsibilities
Were looking for an experienced ACP, ANP and Advanced Paramedics to join a well-established GP surgery in Halifax, working within their Same Day / Acute Care clinics. This is a steady block booking ideal for clinicians wanting consistent hours and a supportive environment.

Youll be assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for patients presenting with same-day and acute conditions. Youll work autonomously but also as part of a friendly, collaborative practice team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential

• Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, etc.)
• Current professional registration with the relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC)
• Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards it)
• Independent Prescriber

Experience
