• Provide high-quality same-day and acute patient assessments
• Diagnose and manage a range of acute presentations
• Prescribe independently
• Work closely with GP and nurses

Job responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced ACP, ANP and Advanced Paramedic to join a well-established GP surgery in Halifax, working within their Same Day / Acute Care clinics. This is a steady block booking ideal for clinicians wanting consistent hours and a supportive environment.

You'll be assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for patients presenting with same-day and acute conditions. You'll work autonomously but also as part of a friendly, collaborative practice team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential

• Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, etc.)
• Current professional registration with the relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC)
• Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards it)
• Independent Prescriber

Experience
Essential

• Qualified ACP or ANP
• Independent Prescriber
• Experience working in GP or primary care settings
• Confident managing acute, undifferentiated presentations
• Comfortable working autonomously
