Job SummaryWe are seeking a Salaried GP to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Chapelthorpe Medical Centre. The postholder will deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care services within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Main Duties of the Job- Deliver routine, urgent and emergency GP consultations via face-to-face, telephone and online consultations
- Diagnose, manage and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Undertake approximately 25 patient contacts per day
- Participate in duty doctor sessions on a rota basis
- Manage triage requests and undertake home visits when required
- Review, action and follow up pathology and investigation results daily
- Process referrals, prescriptions, reports and clinical correspondence in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate, high-quality patient records in line with clinical governance standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
About UsChapelthorpe Medical Centre is an innovative, forward-thinking training practice serving approximately 13,800 patients. The practice has 4 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, an ACP and a skilled multidisciplinary team supported by PCN staff. The practice uses SystmOne, Ardens, askmyGP and Welby clinical systems.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise
ExperienceEssential- Included on the NHS England Performers List.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Commitment to high-quality patient-centred care.
Desirable- Experience of NHS General Practice and SystmOne.
