Job summaryThe remit of the post holder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing leadership and further developing Arrhythmia services to Croydon Health Services patients.
In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general in-patient and out-patient workload of the team whilst having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.

Croydon University Hospital is a busy General Hospital, serving the population of Croydon. Most major medical and surgical specialities are represented. The Cardiology department provides on-site cardiac catheterisation, elective and emergency PCI, and we have established a growing complex cardiac devices service providing implantation and follow-up of simple and complex cardiac devices (PPM, ICD, and CRT)Croydon is situated to the south of London and has easy access to both central London and the south coast. It also offers a huge range of social, leisure and shopping options, with transport links to both Gatwick and Heathrow Airport. DesirableTraining and ExperienceEssential- Evidence of comprehensive experience in loop implant, single, dual chamber and CRT pacing implantation, programming &management.
- Substantial experience of working in clinical cardiology in a UK setting
Desirable- BHRS/EHRA/IBHRE Accreditation in cardiac pacing.
AdministrationEssential- Experience in day-to-day organization of services in a busy teaching hospital.
Management and leadershipEssential- Able to demonstrate leadership capability with multi-disciplinary teams
