We are looking for enthusiastic Podiatrists to join our Podiatry Service in Derbyshire in a development post.

The opportunity to work in varied settings across the beautiful county of Derbyshire, including Hospitals, Health Centres and patient's homes. Our current Vacancies are based in Derby City and South Derbyshire.

The opportunity to provide a quality, good value service to a wide variety of patient types and develop working relationships with other services, trusts and our Podiatric Surgery team. This may include working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams in acute trust

An annual appraisal and personal development plan. DCHS pledges to engage, involve and support staff to reach their full potential

Supportive Mentorship and Preceptorship.

CPD arranged by the Podiatry Service in addition to the essential learning required by the trust.

To become part of our Team. To have involvement in team meetings and the opportunity to make valuable contributions to the team meetings, staff forums and via Staff Surveys and Pulse Checks.

Qualifications
Essential

• Degree or Diploma in Podiatry. Registrant of Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
• Registrant of Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
• Local Anaesthesia Certificate

Experience and Knowledge
Essential

• HCPC registered
• Degree in Podiatry
• Ability to assess Diabetic patients

Desirable

• Able to assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate for a wider range of clinical needs
• Experience of minor surgical procedures.

Skills
Essential

• Able to demonstrate highly specialised physical skills

Desirable

• Able to liaise with and share care with other Health Care Professionals.

• Do you have access to a vehicle which can be used for work purposes or are you able to travel as required to meet the needs of the service. Please note not all office locations or client care bases maybe reached by public transport?
