Salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 per annum (pro rata) with a 30% evening enhancement, and 45% weekend enhancement

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Advanced Practitioner, you'll assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients with a wide range of conditions across urgent and emergency care settings. This means working autonomously as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, using your advanced clinical skills to make a real impact when it matters most.
As a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) with independent prescribing rights and Level 7 clinical assessment skills, you'll also have the confidence, autonomy and passion essential to shaping better outcomes.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Registered as an independent non medical prescriber.
- A minimum of 2 modules at Level 7. 1 X module must have included assessment of clinical examination skills.
Desirable- MSc (Advanced Practice)
- Mentorship qualification
ExperienceEssential- Substantial Autonomous practice working and multi-professional team
- Can show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice
- Can demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care in both adults and children
- Has experience in one of the following: nurse led clinics, emergency care centres ,out of hours facilities or walk in centres
- Consolidated Independent Prescribing experience.
Desirable- Use of examination skills in practice.

- IRMER & X-Ray interpretation.
- Pathology interpretation
- Telephone triage
- Full driving Licence (All other DHU Health Care CIC divisions)
