Job summaryWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly nursing team for up to full time hours.
You will be committed to providing excellent patient care, working collaboratively with the wider clinical team, and contributing to the ongoing development of services within the practice.

Main duties of the job- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a general practice setting.
- Undertake cervical screening, vaccinations and immunisations, including seasonal flu clinics.
- Conduct long-term condition reviews and medication reviews within scope of practice and qualifications and clinical protocols.
- Provide wound care management, including dressing, sutures, and clip removal.
- Perform a range of clinical procedures including ECGs, ear irrigation, injections, and phlebotomy-related tasks where required.
- Deliver travel health advice, vaccinations and contraception services within scope of practice.
- Process laboratory samples and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
- Ensure safe management, storage, and monitoring of vaccines, medicines, and cold chain processes.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, making referrals and supporting patients to access appropriate services.
- Maintain professional standards in line with the NMC requirements, participate in training and audit activities, and support continuous quality improvement within the practice.
