Job summaryHoughton Regis Medical Centre are offering an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, supportive and innovative practice for 6-8 sessions per week. We are looking for a fixed term salaried GP who shares our values and has the characteristics to fit into our team, who is prepared to share the rewards of General Practice, along with the responsibilities and challenges.
Ideal start date would be November 2026 but is negotiable for the right candidate. This job is for a period of 4 months from 2nd November to 28th of February.
Main duties of the jobWe are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly GP to
- For face to face and telephone consultation with patients who are triaged on the day by our general practitioner.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care with a commitment to continuity of care
- Communicate well within the MDT
- Be reliable and proactive
- To contribute to QOF and enhanced service data collection and targets
About usThe Houghton Regis Medical Centre is a long established surgery, with a central location in Houghton Regis, opposite the main Bedford Square.
We provide a full range of personal medical services for our patients. We have five GPs, nurses, an administrative team and an attached team, which includes district nurses, health visitors, midwifes and counsellors. From time to time, we also have medical students from the Royal Free and UCL medical schools, training at the practice.
