Job summary
East Cheshire NHS Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and caring experienced Band 6 Radiographer to join our CT and MRI Radiology Team at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

We are a fully digital department 2 GE Evolution CT scanners and 2 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Aera.

22.5 Hours per week

We welcome applications from Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 6 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join our team of Radiographers covering cross-sectional imaging. Experience as a HCPC Registered Radiographer and CT/MRI experience is desired to apply for this post.

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • Qualified Radiographer DCR/BSc (Diploma of the College of Radiographers/Bachelor of Science)
  • HCPC Registration

Desirable
  • Post graduate certificate in CT or MR

Knowledge
  • Full-time post qualification experience.
  • Experience of any type of CT and MRI techniques

Desirable
  • Experience of emergency on-call duties.

  • Cannulation Experience
  • Committed to providing a quality service
  • Able to demonstrate organisational skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to co-ordinate staff and workloads.
  • Displays good judgement

Experience
  • CT/MRI Experience
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of CT/MRI

  • Evidence of multi-modality experience

Specific Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of IRMER and MRI Safety
  • Use of highly complex cross sectional equipment

Desirable
  • CT Colonography Experience/Qualification
  • CT Cardiac Experience
