Main duties of the jobYou will undertake general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography examinations following departmental protocols, providing a high standard of imaging.
We are looking for good communicators with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team; someone with a proactive and flexible approach to provide the best care for our patients across the 24/7 service.

We are a busy Radiology Department who undertake examinations in a number of modalities, across 2 sites. The main facilities are Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH) with satellite services at Andover Community Diagnostic Centre.

Person SpecificationTraining and qualificationsEssential- BSc or Diploma in Radiography
- HCPC registration
- Evidence that knowledge of general imaging is up to date
Desirable- Experience in image interpretation
Experience and KnowledgeEssential- NHS experience as a radiographer or student radiographer
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of radiographic procedures including IR(ME)R regulations
- Computer literate
Desirable- Experience in more than one hospital
- Experience of working with students
Skills and abilityEssential- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Desirable- Evidence of knowledge of ALARP, pregnancy and patient care
