Job Summary
Warrington & Halton Hospital is looking to recruit Amazing Radiographers. We are a team that is keen to push boundaries and develop our staff from within. We support Radiographer Reporting in Chest, Abdomen and MSK. We encourage self-development and fully support attendance at National and International Conferences to ensure we get the best outcomes for our patients. In recent years we had delegates and presenters at UKIO, RSNA, BNMS and BEMUS. In return, we expect a team approach. In Primary imaging to ensure work/life balance, we operate a shift system that provides an additional 6 weeks leave per year through TOIL. Also, our overnights are paid, and are not part of a shift system.

Main Duties of the Job
Radiology covers 3 sites; Warrington, CSTM and Halton. We also cover an Urgent Care Centre in Widnes. Radiology provides a vast array of services across all these sites and have a professional and dedicated imaging team committed to providing a first-class service to our patients and clinical users, with the service focusing upon producing high quality, technical and diagnostic images and providing excellent standards of patient care. Diagnostic imaging is a core service at the Trust playing an extensive role in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and the identification of skeletal abnormalities. We are a busy department working 24 hours a day across 7 days per week. The department is actively involved in training students from the University of Liverpool. We also support post-graduation studies across all modalities. New staff are fully supported with a preceptorship programme during their transition to our Trust, which ensures that you will feel confident and competent in your role.
