You would be joining a psychology team of CAP, psychologists and psychological therapists supporting young adults experiencing difficulties related to complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, and a wide range of other mental health challenges.

We are looking for someone with experience in supporting individuals with complex presentations, and who is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued development of the care pathways for young adults across North East Essex.
Main duties of the job- Provide specialist psychological assessment for young adults aged 18-25 presenting with complex mental health needs, including trauma-related difficulties and emotional dysregulation.
- Deliver evidence-based individual psychological therapy, including trauma-focused interventions, and flexibly adapting therapeutic approaches to meet diverse needs (e.g., neurodiversity, complex presentations).
- Offer consultation and psychological advice to services seeking input, guidance or referrals into the 18-25 Psychology Service.
- Support service development, e.g. improving referral pathways.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide support to colleagues, contributing to reflective practice, case discussions, and service development.
