Working remotely, you will support Everyturn Mentalnational waiting list management, deliver low-intensity CBT interventions, and play a key part in expanding our national Step 2 webinar programme.
Main Duties of the JobYoull deliver evidence-based, low-intensity CBT interventions to support people experiencing anxiety and depression, helping reduce waiting times and improve early access to care.
Youll also contribute to innovative, scalable approaches including webinars and group-based interventions, supporting a proactive and preventative model of care.
This is a permanent full-time role. You'll work Mondays to Fridays, and there will be one late shift (12pm-8pm) required each week.
This is a remote role, for people living in the United Kingdom.
This role is

Job Responsibilities- Assess and deliver Low Intensity CBT interventions recommended by NICE guidelines to clients with depression and/or anxiety disorders, including in the context of long-term physical health conditions. collaborative problem statement and linked goals for treatment.
- Undertake accurate assessments of risks to self and others, taking responsibility to ensure appropriate actions and documentation is undertaken in a timely manner.
- Assess suitability of talking therapies and provide a caseload (updating records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols and data collection), adhering to Talking Therapies referral protocols KPIs and SLAs ensuring treatment remains accessible, and refer unsuitable patients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or provide step-up to a high intensity intervention.
- Deliver consultation methods including, online, webinar, groups, local community and interact with family members, carers and key external contacts in treatment as required to support patient journey.
- Coordinate with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach to support patient journey.
- Attend and contribute to clinical skills and case management supervision sessions, all of which will contribute to the development and enhancement of our current working practices to enhance our clinical care.
- Undertake any reasonable duties/responsibilities to meet the needs of the organisation.
Person SpecificationProfessional Registrations (Essential)- Hold PWP Registration (or be working towards) with BABCP or BPS
Experience (Essential)- Demonstrable Experience of working people who have experienced a mental health problem utilising low intensity CBT in the PWP role.
- Demonstrable experience of meeting agreed performance targets in a service demonstrating clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience of working with people who have experienced common mental health problems i.e. anxiety / depression.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a Talking Therapies service and achieving good individual outcomes in patient work.
- Demonstrable experience in robust risk management processes.
- Demonstrable experience of working with clients who may present as highly emotive and at times present as aggressive or difficult.
- Demonstrable experience of conducting assessments.
Qualifications (Essential)- Hold one of the three options: 1) Holds a PG or UG certificate in Low Intensity Interventions from a recognised BPS accredited PWP training provider. 2) MSci Applied Psychology integrated with PWP qualification with dual BPS accreditation as PWP training. 3) PWP Apprenticeship training qualification from a BPS accredited PWP training programme.
Knowledge (Essential)- Detailed understanding of the issues surrounding work and the impact it can have on mental health.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the PWP role and latest updates to evidence base and delivery.
- Detailed understanding of care pathways between Primary and Secondary care.
- Detailed understanding of medication used in anxiety and depression and other common mental health problems.
- Detailed understanding of anxiety disorders and depression, the stepped care model and high-intensity step-up options to aid clinical decision making in the service and appropriate patient coordination.
- Detailed understanding of Talking Therapies and stepped care model.
