An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic nurse with proven experience as a senior band 5/6 nurse, working with people with specific nutritional needs.
Working across the speciality and wards, contributing to the delivery and development of the Nutrition Service using effective evidence-based practice in line with agreed national standards for clinical practice. Passionate about ensuring the highest standards of patient centred care are provided and continuously improving experiences for patients, families and carers, working both independently and as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. Acting as a key worker for a clinical caseload of patients at different points in the care pathway, working to coordinate care and provide easy access for on-going support for patients with Nutritional requirements.
For this role you will need to have current NMC Nursing registration with post qualification experience.
Possession of excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills coupled with evidence of continuing professional development are essential.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate would be expected to work as part of the team to deliver high standards of patient care responsive to patient's needs.
The post holder will possess the ability to be able to work alone and with the wider supporting team, and work collaboratively with external agencies. You will be expected to demonstrate and role model the uppermost professional standards.
