Main duties of the jobAs a Senior SACT Nurse, you will deliver high-quality systemic anti-cancer therapies while supporting the leadership of the unit and deputising for the Lead Nurse where required.
Youll play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuity of care.
What Youll Do- Deliver chemotherapy and systemic anti-cancer treatments safely
- Manage a patient caseload and run nurse-led clinics
- Provide specialist advice and support to patients and families
- Support acute oncology triage and on-call services
- Contribute to audits, research, and service development
- Mentor and support junior staff
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

What Youll Have- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- 2+ years experience in oncology and chemotherapy (SACT) administration
- Competence in IV access, central lines, and venepuncture
- UKONS SACT Passport (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
