Main duties of the jobThe Advanced Nurse Practitioner provides autonomous, high level clinical care to adults, children and young people presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed and complex conditions. The role supports safe, effective and evidence based practice, contributes to clinical governance, and strengthens multidisciplinary working across the practice and wider system.
About usGrassendale Medical Practice has a young cohort of clinical staff. We are a lovely, friendly bunch who support each other. We meet regularly for clinical meetings. Staffing consists of 9 Part Time GP's, 3 nurses, pharmacist cover and 10 admin staff.
Job responsibilities- Assess, diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and undiagnosed conditions.
- Undertake advanced physical and psychological examinations.
- Prescribe and review medication in line with NICE, MHRA and local ICB protocols.
- Provide paediatric assessment and management for children and young people.
- Develop personalised treatment plans, safety netting and follow up arrangements.
- Deliver evidence-based care using both pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records in line with NMC standards.
QualificationsEssential- Current NMC registration with no restrictions
- V300 Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
- Advanced Clinical Assessment Level 7
- At least 5 years experience in urgent or primary care
- Ability to work collaboratively
Desirable- Quality improvement experience
- ACP MSc completed or working towards
